I will show two exhibitions in the old herring factory in Djúpavík this summer. Some of you readers will know it already, its the exhibition called "Pictures - and their sounds". Beside known pictures/sounds you will see and listen to 14 new ones. While or right after each image was taken, the background sounds of the scene were recorded along with it – the silence of nature, the voices of animals, the plubbering of hot springs and much more...

My second exhibition "200+ pictures" is different: You see about 200 pictures (in the size DIN A5), I was choosing those pictures from my homepage by random. Each picture is available only one time and taken - of course - here in Iceland. By buying a picture you support the renovation work for the old herring factory in Djúpavík.

This year I offer a book (incl. Audio-CD) with 38 "Pictures - and their sounds" of this exhibition (new edition, 2011). It costs € 30,00 (or 4.500 kr; plus P/P). You can get it by ordering it by sending me an E-Mail, coming to Djúpavík or in Reykjavík in the store 12 Tónar and in the music-store inside the new opened concert hall Harpa (its a great building, check it out!).
