Petra visited Reykjavík and we both decided to have a short round trip - Reykjanes peninsula with Garður, Hafnir, Valahnúkur, Grindavík and Kleifarvatn. And more ... A nice trip during nice weather :-).

First day of the great music festivals "Iceland Airwaves '12". Today on the stage (at Hafnarhús, Art Museum Reykjavík): Samaris (IS), Phantogram (US), sóley (IS, sorry, I took no picture of Sóley) and Purity Ring (US).

My favorite icelandic painter: Eggert Pétursson. He paints flowers and smaller plants, very small and detailed. Today I visited a opening event for an exhibition with paintings by Eggert Pétursson at Gallery i8.
