Today 10 years ago Eva picked me up at the airport in Gjögur. It was my first day in Djúpavík ever (and fourth day in Iceland). I spent 8 days at Djúpavík Hotel and straight away I knew this place would change my life. Now in 2013 I have spent my eighth summer in a row in Djúpavík, whilst living and working in Reykjavík since 2008. Yes, my life changed completely - and I am happy! Takk fyrir to all those people I have met and my companions along the way - Eva, Ási and their family, Kaja, María and Vigdís, the staff at work in Reykjavík and in Djúpavík, so many nice guests in Djúpavík, visitors of my exhibitions and many followers on Facebook and my homepage.
