This year I will show in Djúpavík two exhibitions: The installation "Pictures - and their sounds" with 14 new pictures/sounds (of 38 ones!). And I will show about 200 pictures, which I was choosing by random from my homepage. The exhibitions are open from 1 June till 31 August 2011 in the old herring factory in Djúpavík. "Pictures - and their sounds" will be shown two times in Germany this fall: In Bad Berleburg during the literature festival 'Literaturpflaster' (www.literaturpflaster.com, 12. Sept. till 21. Oct.) and in Frankfurt/M. at EULENGASSE (www.eulengasse.de, 7.10. till 16.10.) Both showings are connected to the bookfair with guest of honour Iceland.

Freyja knew it probably. The yellow car did not start anymore and had to get tow off. The local to sercice helped out! And a photographer captured this activity with his camera in eleven pictures.

It's 2 July. The day before Kaja arrived here Djúpavík. So we drove to the north to have a cup of coffee/tea and baked waffles while sitting in the sun. Hach Kaja, thank you!
