The third time the chess tournament with more than 40 players was held in the old herring factory in Djúpavík.

17 June is national holiday of Iceland! Tradition is to make a small pageant in Djúpavík, guided by Magga on the saxophone.

A new nice map of Árneshreppur, designed by Ómar Smári Kristinsson and Nína Ivanova, was presented today at Café Norðurfjörður. Eva, Ásbjörn and I joined this nice event...

For Sigrún the wonderfull light was one of the reasons to go on the roof of the old herring factory to take pictures! A nice idea, I thought, and went on the roof, too...
